Reconstruction Works of Kuressaare Aerodrome Movement Area

General
This AIP SUP supplements the following portion of the AIP: AD 2 EEKE.
Possible changes to AIP SUP shall be published by NOTAM.

10 AUG 2026 to 31 AUG 2026.

Purpose
Reconstruction of Kuressaare aerodrome movement area.

Description
Kuressaare aerodrome movement area will be closed due to reconstruction works.
During the reconstruction:
Manoeuvring area pavement will be renewed (except RWY 05/23);
RWY 35 THR turning pad will be reconstructed; Manoeuvring area markings will be renewed;
RGL lights will be installed at holding positions A and B;
RWY 17/35 REDL, RTHL, RENL, PAPI lights, TWY edge lights and illuminated signs will be replaced with LED lights; The airfield lighting control system will be upgraded, including the addition of the PCL function.

Restrictions
During the reconstruction period, the following restrictions will apply at Kuressaare aerodrome:
Aerodrome movement area will be closed;
Aerodrome will be closed for flight operations;
The aerodrome and Kuressaare AFIS unit will be closed; Aerodrome fire fighting category will not be available;
ILS IWA will not be in use; Fuelling and handling will not be available;
Low approaches over the runway will be prohibited;
Overflight of the aerodrome below 700 ft AMSL will be prohibited.
