Reconstruction Works at Ämari Aerodrome (EEEI)

1 General

This AIRAC AIP SUP supplements the following portion of the AIP: AD 2 EEEI.

Possible changes to AIP SUP shall be published by NOTAM.

Changed information compared to previous AIP SUP:

Added information about VORTAC unreliability;
Added working hours;
Added information about other restrictions.

2 Period

The areas listed in paragraph 3 are closed from 11 MAR 2024 00:00 UTC until 30 NOV 2024 23:59 UTC.

3 Purpose

RWY 06/24, TWYs A, B, C, D, E and H, APNs 1, 2 and 3 and Helipad North are closed to traffic due to reconstruction works.

4 Rotary-Wing and VTOL operations

Rotary-wing (RW) and VTOL aircraft can operate from TWY F and park on APN 4. A temporary helipad is set as below:

5 Navaids

During the period stated in paragraph 2 ILS IAM and ILS IGO are unavailable. VORTAC AMI is available for en-route navigation only.

VORTAC AMI CH 100X (115.300 MHz) information may be unreliable.

6 Operational Hours

AD, AIS briefing office, MET briefing office and handling hours of service:

MON-THU: 0630-1430 (0530-1330)
FRI: 0630-1315 (0530-1215)
SAT-SUN: CLSD

Outside EEEI MET Office OPR HR TAF is not available.

Ämari TWR hours of service:

MON-THU: 0630-1430 (0530-1330)
FRI: 0630-1315 (0530-1215)
SAT-SUN: CLSD

Outside published TWR operating hours EEEI CTR airspace classification is G.

7 Other Restrictions

Low visibility procedures for take-off (LVPTO) are not available.

RWY 06/24 approach and RWY lightning are not available due to reconstruction works.

AD fire fighting services CAT is downgraded to 4.

RVR info may be unreliable.

ATIS information on CH 123.880 and on phone +372 717 3310 may be unreliable.
